Description

Tamgroute, a small town in southern Morocco near the Sahara, lends its name meaning 'last place before the desert' to the handcrafted bowls made there. Using locally sourced copper oxide, the distinctive green glaze of Tamegroute pottery is meticulously crafted. This process involves applying the glaze onto the ceramic vessel and firing it in a kiln. As the vessel is fired, a spectrum of colors emerges, ranging from bright green to deep olive green, influenced by the temperature and duration of firing.

These exquisite bowls showcase the classic vibrant green hues, providing an elegant way to display Moroccan cuisine or any other dish. Not only are they perfect for presenting food, but also for adding a touch of sophistication to your kitchen decor. Tamegroute pottery is a natural, rustic vintage product that may contain minor imperfections, such as small baking marks or fine lines.
